The hotel Lesní dům (Forest House) offers accommodation and hospitality services in the area of eastern Krkonoše (Krkonoše Mountains), near the Černá hora (Black mountain), reachable by a cable car Černohorský Express. In winter you may use the SkiResort Černá hora-Pec and admire the beautiful panoramas of the Krkonoše Mountains, Sněžka mountain, or you may enjoy services offered by Janské Lázně Spa and Resort. In the summer, this place is an ideal starting point for your hiking and walking trips or bike rides.

The hotel is situated in pleasant surroundings on the outskirts of Janské Lázně (Spa Resort) at an altitude of approximately 660 meters above the mean sea level. The city of Janské lázně is a quiet place where you can relax. The surrounding area around the hotel is perfect for relaxation walks, mountain hikes and bike tours. We can also highly recommend trips to Pec pod Sněžkou, or you may choose to visits the Černohorské rašeliniště (turf site), Adršpašské Mountains (rock city), the Kuks castle, Safari in Dvůr Králové nad Labem or other interesting sites.

Parking for hotel guests is provided at an enclosed hotel parking lot free of charge. In summer time, one garage is sometimes available after previous agreement.

The hotel has its own sauna and whirlpool, where you can relax after a busy day, or you may take advantage of our offer and enjoy professional massages (full body or partial massage, back, neck, lower limbs, upper limbs, chest and abdomen massages may be ordered directly upon booking or upon arrival and according to your current mood and taste).

In winter you can use ski, snowboards and sleds rental services ( http://www.coloradoskirental.cz ) or services offered by the Ski School ( http://www.ski-school.cz ) located next to our hotel, where you can also safely „store“ your children and let them improve their skiing and snowboarding techniques. Directly behind the hotel is a ski lift for beginners and children offering night skiing and sledding fun. Ski slopes for advanced skiers (SkiResort Černá hora-Pec :  www.skiresort.cz) are very close. Do not forget to take 3.5 km long sled ride from Černá hora along the Zvonková cesta (Zvonková road).

During summer season you may use our outdoor (heated) swimming pool equipped with reverse water stream, where you can enjoy splashy fun or relax, or you can visit the nearby mini-golf course. If you prefer a real size golf course then you should visit the golf course in Mladé Buky 5 km away. Also , do not forget to visit the nearby new Krkonoše Tree Top Trail and also rope climbing centre located at the bottom of the cable car station, which can give you a ride to the top of the Černá hora. Here, the K + K Ski School will offer you other interesting and exciting outdoor activities.

From our hotel you can take countless tourist walks (such as a tour to waterfalls in Klauzův důl – Klauzův mine), trips (a nice educational trail to the top of Černá hora) or tours (via Černá hora to Pec and to the top of the Sněžka mountain). Biking lovers will certainly enjoy the educational bike trail (about 15 km of pure enjoyment) or you may take the cable car to go to the top of the Černá hora (no charge for bikes). At the lower cable car station you may also rent a mountain bike or a scooter.

In the main summer and winter season, the indoor spa relaxation complex ( www.janskelazne.com ) is open to the public again with a swimming pool, counter current, massage jets, whirlpools, sauna, steam, etc.
